Community Connections

    The GNHRA feels strongly that we should provide support to non-profit organizations in the Greater Nashua area that provide services to our community.  To that end, we have created the “Community Connections” program.

    In the past we have solicited donations from our members for non-profit organizations where some of our members have worked.  For example, we have collected donations for the local food pantry as well as collecting donations of toys for children during the holidays.  In an effort to broaden our community outreach, we would like to give all of our members the opportunity to nominate a local organization to be a recipient of our chapter’s donations.  Therefore, going forward we will solicit nominations from our members as to which local non-profits we should support during the current program year.

    If you work for a local non-profit or have a connection with and/or feel strongly that a local organization needs our support, we encourage you to make a nomination.  We will collect nominations at the beginning of each program year.  Depending upon the needs of the organizations that are nominated, we will coordinate a minimum of one and maximum of two donation events each program year.  We will also look at different ways we may be able to provide support to the organization.

    Once nominations are received, chapter members will be given the opportunity to vote on the submissions.  In the event that there are no nominations, the GNHRA Board of Directors will decide which organizations to support during that year.
